13/12/06 :- ‘Anantham’ is the story of the relationship between three generations of a popular Nair family, in a village where farming is the main line of work. Hari Narayanan shared a special bond with his father Kesavan Nair but was terrified of his grand father Narayanan Nair. One day he, an engineering graduate, had a fight with his father and he leaves his house and shifts to chennai in search of job. There he meets Pooja, who is from a rich family and they fall in love.
After ‘Vasthavam’ and ‘Pakal’, ‘Anantham’ is another one Prithviraj’s attempt at realistic cinema. Prithviraj’s career seems to take a big turn after the success of ‘Classmates’ and good reviews he got for ‘Vastavam’ from with in the industry. But it is still to be seen if he can deliver a commercial hit on his own.
This is Kukku Surendran’s second film as director, first one being the offbeat film ‘oraal’ with Mukesh and Shreya Reddy in the lead. This film’s producer is Kukku’s elder brother and famous architect Sunil Surendran.
Shooting of the film is proceeding at Palakkad and the film is likely to release on January. |
