A lady who didn’t start with a success movie, but learnt to fight her way out to reach the place many upcoming acress will be aiming for. Being an foreigner and not knowing Hindi was a major drawback for her but all these went clueless with her innocent face, stunning features. Born in Hong Kong, she is among the eight girl child their parents had. During her stay in Hawaii, she got her first chance to do modeling at the age of 14 years. Since then, she was in the modeling industry in London. Katrina kaif always dreamt of coming to India.

Katrina kaif started her film career in a movie ‘Boom’ which was not quite successful. But having got the taste of success in her modeling, she was aimed to make it big in the film industry as well. While her film career was not so good in the early stage she continued modeling and was seen in number of advertisements like LG, cola, Lakme, etc. She went south and became successful in Telugu industry with movies like ‘Malliswari’ and ‘Pidugu’.

Katrina kaif got recognized in when she did a small role in Hindi movie ‘Sarkar’. After there was no looking back for her.Her movies like Namaste London, Race, Partner got her praises and more movie offers. Being emotional girl personally, she pursued Hindi and Kathak classes to learn the language and facial expressions. Having a British citizenship, she relocated to Mumbai to continue her film career. She has a height of 5′8 and half inches which is both a positive and negative for her. She has done many movies with Akshay Kumar who feels their on screen chemistry is good. Apart from her career she does a lot of charity work like her mom.  When asked about her relationship with Salman Khan, she commented that she is not ready to share her personal life to the media. The disappointed actress said that gossips are part of film industry and she is learning to cope with them.

Katrina kaif tried visiting Salman when he was in jail for killing an endangered animal and also shared a comfort level with him which lead to rumours of them having relationship. Both Salman and Katrina are tight lipped, when asked about their affair. Kat who is one of the highly paid female-actress in Bollywood industry says she doesn’t wear skinny clothes unless the role requires it. This Mattel’s Bollywood Barbie is done a item number in the movie ‘Blue’ for which she was paid around one and half a crore.
