Simbhu is expecting a grand return with his next project Utthama Putthiran. This title is taken from the old film Uthama Puthiran starring the Legendary actors Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini and was released in the year 1958.

The new film is categorised with action and romance which well suits Simbu. Simbu is well prepared and is willing to prove his acting ability in this film. The story is wrapped up and it is hoped that soon it will be released. this film will be directed by Boopathy Pandian and it is produced by Lingusamy. The heroine is yet to bet decided for this film.  The film is expected to start when Simbu finishes his work for the film ‘Ko’.
