Rahul Mahajan is ready to get married again after his divorce with ex wife Shwetha singh Mahajan. But the way he has chosen to find her girl is totally new and big. While some find their partner in various ways Rahul has chosen television as the way to find his girl.

Last year it was “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar” the reality show that grabbed all the viewers’ attention and had the highest TRP rating of the year. Though Rakhi chose her partner it did not last long as she found Elesh was not compatible after a while. But this year it’s the show time for the man of controversies Mr. Rahul Mahajan. The sequel of “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar” is titled as Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, while the earlier one was to find a boy and the later one is to find a girl. Soon after the announcement of the show has been made nearly 20,000 applications were received to participate in the show and to be the girl of Rahul Mahajan. But only 16 girls were selected to be a participant. Speaking about the show Rahul said, “After my divorce, my mother wanted me to get married again. In fact, she was trying hard to find a suitable partner for me. So, when I told her about the idea of getting married on television, she was more than happy. People meet through websites, while clubbing and by other means. I am just doing it on a bigger scale and on a public platform”. Rahul Mahajan also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 2. He tried to woo Payal Rohatg but failed at last. He also came as Judge for a stand up comedy show featuring children’s in Colours channel.
