“Kudumbasree Travels” is the next film being signed by Jayaram. The actor did not have a very good 2009 as his films  Kana Kanmani, My Big Father, Seetha Kalyanam did not do well.

 The new film is a family oriented subject in which the actor owns a bus service owner and it is directed by debutant director Kiran. Sources say that the film may have shades of the Sathyan Anthikkad’s classic movie ‘Varavelppu’ which had Mohanlal in a similar role. But the director says his film will be very different from the classic and is made as a hilarious movie telling the plight of Kerala based entrepreneur humorously. Jayaram plans to join the film after he completes the Sathyan Anthikkad film. He would also be doin films with Saji Surendran, Shafi and T V Chandran in 2010.
