‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ is the next movie of Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan after his blockbuster movie ‘Dasavatharam’. The film is being made in three languages Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. Kamal and Mohan Lal plays the lead role in the Tamil and Malayalam version movie while Venkatesh plays the role of Mohan Lal in Telugu version. Major part of the film has been shot in Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad.

‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ as its name says is about a common man who thinks like every patriotic man in the country against the terrorism and injustice but the one who executes his plans with courage. ‘Unnai Pol oruvan’ is the remake of the Hindi film ‘A Wednesday’ where the lead roles were played by Nasrudeen Shah and Anupam Kher. The film begins like the police commissioner of Mumbai who is going to retire from the next day narrates the toughest case he handled.
The film is directed by Chakri Toleti who played the scientist friend of Kamal in ‘Dasavatharam’. Kamal’s daughter Shruti Hassan scored the music for the film, Rajkaml Films and UTV Motion pictures produces the film, Cinematographuy by Manoj Soni, art direction by Thotta Tharani. ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ will hit the theatres in September .
