Trisha Krishnan , her first officially released movie was Lesa Lesa, where she did proved herself as an actress. But she was not a new face for Tamil people as she was seen in many commercials before this including Fair and Lovely and Junior Horlicks. She originally hails from Kerala but settled down in Chennai where she did her schooling.
Initially whenever Trisha was given offers to act in movies she refused to do so as she was not afraid she would not be able to perform well. Then when Priyadharshan approached her for a leading role in his movie, she threw all her inhibitions away and gave a try. After that there was no stopping for her, as she was flooded with offers not only in Tamil cinema but also in Telugu. She is now one of the leading actresses in both the industry with a handful of projects. Though she had few flops in both Tamil and Telugu cinema, she didn’t give up and continued acting. Her role in Mounam Pesiyathe and Aayutha Ezuthu gave her critical acclaim for which she won few awards too. There is big fan following for her innocent looks and sweet smile. She has acted with almost all the leading actress in Tamil and Telugu including Vijay, Vikram, Surya, Ajith, Mahesh babu, Venkatesh and many others.
Trisha movies like Something Something… in Tamil and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana in Telugu where she played the lead role in both the languages proved her acting skills. Apart from movies, she still continues to act in commercials. She recently is appointed as the brand ambassador for Fanta India and for Scooty Pep. This smile beauty has participated and won many contests including ‘Miss Smile Beautiful’. Her hobbies are reading, music, playing tennis and so on. She is also a trained Ballet dancer who loves to party whenever she gets time.
