24th october, 2009 – The two and half year old romance as at last put an end to all the speculations in the bollywood industry. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra got engaged 24th of this October. Since her success in Big Boss Raj Kundra, a London based businessman is always by her side giving her moral as well as financial support. This was well evident in IPL matches. Though they got engaged, the marriage dates are still not announced officially.

Shilpa looked stunning in pink saree and emerald jewellery. Designer Manish Malhotra designed the outfit for her engagement, while Tahiliani will design the outfits for the other functions. Shilpa was the showstopper for Tahiliani’s two fashion events, but her appearance in lehenga choli was appreciated by all. The engagement ceremony was conducted in Raj Kundra’s Juhu residence. It was a personal affair where only family members and close friends were invited. It is said that Shilpa will be continuing her career post marriage by shuttling between London and India. She has already started her business career in a big way by starting a restaurant in London.
