 Jack Sparrow’s fans will have a blast in 2011. Walt Disney is planning to release ‘Pirates of Caribbean 4’ which will solely focus on the captain Jack Sparrow. For the people who are wondering what it is all about, Pirates of Caribbean is a series of an adventure movie, which has Johnny Depp in the lead. The first movie, Pirates of Caribbean: The curse of the black pearl was released in 2003 which was huge success. After this Jerry Bruckheimer decided he will release the next two of the trilogy which lead to the release of Pirates of Carribean: Dead man’s chest in 2006.
This movie too was a big hit breaking records worldwide. The last in the series Pirates of Caribbean: At World’s end was released in 2007 which also saw decent collection. The series is based on Walt Disney’s theme park ride. The leading characters in the movie Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann are portrayed by Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley respectively. In 2008, Johnny Depp signed on for the fourth film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. According to Disney’s head of production Oren Aviv, the crew will start their shooting in April-May of next year. He also said this will be first one of another triology. The hero of the trilogy said that he feels very lucky to be a part of Pirates of Caribbean and the movie has given him a lot of experience. He has also said that he cannot get enough of the character Jack Sparrow. There is a rumor that Pirates 4 will keep Will and Elizabeth aside to make it all Jack Sparrow’s movie.

Update - 18 Jan 2010 : Pirates turned down : The “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” is set to sail now under Disney’s production in the direction of Rob Marshall. Johnny Depp will as usual play the lead role. Does anyone know who Johnny’s first choice for direction was. It is none other than the author’s of The Book of Eli, Albert and Allen who have directed Menace II Society, American Pimp, and From Hell already. But they turned down Johnny’s offer because they are busy with the edition works of the book. “It’s like cheating on your woman to go, ‘Oh, let’s go start dating someone else,†Allen explained. “That wasn’t gonna happen. But it was so much appreciated to be in a room with Jerry Bruckheimer and Johnny and be talking about that.â€
Update - 12 Jan 2010 : The happiest news for the Pirates fans, “Pirates of Caribbean 4†is all set to be made under the name “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”. It will again be a treat for all the fans Johnny Depp will be in Action again for this part also. Jerry Bruckheimer will again be producing the film and it seems he is very happy with the script.
 The film is said to be started from June 2010 and will hit the screen by May 20, 2011. But it is said that no deals have been made yet for making of the movie and those will be made soon it seems.Rob Marshall will direct the film and the writing credits will be given to Ted Elliott for Characters, Tim Powers for the novel and terry Rossio for characters.
 ”Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” is said to follow Jack Sparrow in his quest to find the Fountain of Youth. He will team up with Captain Barbossa in order to “defeat some supernatural terror” said the producer to the reporters.
