Kavya Madhavan was born on September 19, 1984 in village called Nileshwaram, Kerala. She was introduced in the film, ‘Pookalam Varavayi’ in 1991 as a child artiste. She made a noticeable performance in that film. Then she made a remarkable performance in the film, ‘Chandanudikkunna Dikkil’, in which she played the lead role, while she was in her ninth grade. She consistently gained good reviews about her performance in various Malayalam and Tamil movies. She won various awards for her good acting, which also includes government awards. She was married to Nishal Chandra, but then she has applied a divorce from her husband. She is expected to give a powerful come back, by her fans.
