Finally Hero Honda has responded to the growing competition created by its rivals Bajaj and Yamaha. India’s largest motor bike seller has come up with its latest premium bike Karizma ZMR PGM-Fi.
The refined version of Karizma is upgraded with fuel injection and oil cooled engine which are new features to Hero Honda, India. Programmed fuel injection system is used in the bike. The 223cc engine delivers 17.6 Bhp and a torque of 18.35 Nm speeds up to 123km/hr. Digital ignition system is introduced with this bike. Karizma ZMR will be available in five colors, moon yellow, pearl white, sports red, vibrant blue and panther black.
 Ex-showroom Delhi price is 91,000 INR.On the event of launching Karizma ZMR PGM-Fi Hero Honda Motorrs Managing Director Pawan Munjal said ”One of the key pillars of our winning strategy has been to consistently keep introducing new, advanced products and maintaining a balanced product portfolio and the ZMR is all set to further augment our steadily growing presence in the premium segment,”. He also said “The bike has been designed for youngsters in the age group of 18-24 years, who are ”willing to take up challenges, and are looking forward to world-class biking experience”.
Hero Honda has built the bike with fuel injection system while Bajaj has stepped back from Fi to Carburetors. This is considered to be a right move by the company. Also there are some features that are unchanged with the bikes such as normal tyres, twin rear shocks while Yamaha has wide tubeless radials and monoshock suspension that gives a better ride than the normal tyres.
