Imran Khan and his steady girl friend Avantika Malik who is the daughter of CNBC TV18’s head honcho Vandana Malik,  have been dating for a while and have decided to move up to the next level. Imran Khan has exchanged engagement rings with Avantika Malik which wasn’t formally announced to the public. An announcement of engagement between the two is made in a secret ceremony with closed ones.  “Yes it’s true. But we’re planning to have a proper ceremony later, so right now it’s just for us and our families,” admitted Imran Khan during the party thrown by Arjun Rampal for the launch of his nightclub in New Delhi. The bollywood biggies including Karan Johar at the party greeted and congratulated the couple.

Imran Khan is keen on making the formal announcement only on January 2010. Imran mastered the art of loving by being so romantic to his sweetheart. He arranged a surprise party on her birthday July 18, where only close friends and family were present. There He surprised every one by proposing to Avantika and it was cheerfully accepted by her. Imran and Avantika are 26 years older and they had been spotted at parties and events together.
