Anjana Sukhani was born on 10th December, 1978 into a Sindhi family hailing from Jaipur. Her sister Meena has also acted in Bachna Ae Haseeno. She did her schooling from Kamla High School, Mumbai after which she pursued her Master degree in International Business and Foreign Trade. She started her career in the glamour world through ads and became famous as she acted in a Cadbury’s Dairy Milk ad with Amitabh Bachchan. She started her acting career with a small role in Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and went on to act in movies like Hum Dum, Sun Zara, Salaam-e-Ishq, Golmaal Reurns. Her release for 2009 is Jai Veeru starring Fardeen Khan, Kunal Khemu and Dia Mirza.
